Monograph How cigarettes are tested for chemical content
This short report provides a synopsis of the chemical analysis of cigarettes. This procedure consists of three phases: collection, extraction and processing, and quantification. The cigarette smoke is gathered from a smoking machine; the particulate matter is measured; and then the chemical quantity is evaluated.

Monograph WHO, what and why ? transnational government, legitimacy and the World Health Organization
Professor Roger Scruton, a well-known British philosopher, argues against the World Health Organization in its effort to control tobacco internationally via the Tobacco Free Initiative. An article (January 2002) based on a leaked e-mail exchange between Japan Tobacco and the philosopher reveals that Prof. Scruton was paid by the tobacco industry.

Monograph A killer on the loose : an Action on Smoking and Health special investigation into the threat of passive smoking to the U.K. workforce
This report evaluates the effects of exposure to environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) in the workplace. The rate of death due to ETS in the U.K. is cause for concern. The report demonstrates the need for tobacco legislature to protect people who work in areas where they are currently exposed to ETS on a daily basis.

This report provides a list of the harmful effects of second hand smoke (SHS) in adults and children, and also furnishes several recommendations, which all assert that involuntary exposure to SHS should be eradicated. Ventilation can not prevent exposure to SHS, and tobacco smoke should be removed from workplaces in Ontario.

Monograph Getting to the truth : assessing youths’ reactions to the truth and 'think. don’t smoke' tobacco countermarketing campaigns
The truth campaign increased youth’s alertness of tobacco control advertising. During the first ten months of the campaign, more youths had seen at least one Legacy ad than had seen one Philip Morris prevention ad. Counter advertisements detailing industry manipulation or health effects were more effective than refusal skill messages, among other findings.
