Smart Women Don't Smoke
Smart Women Don't Smoke
This video was produced by WHO to spotlight the special health risks of women smokers, including the hazards of smoking during pregnancy, and the increased risk of heart disease for smokers using birth control pills. Other concerns raised are why women smoke, and the advertising and promotion of cigarettes to women. A strong impression is created with Yul Brynner's powerful anti-smoking message, recorded when he was dying of lung cancer, and a selection of the best no-smoking TV spots directed at women.
